Design Team Spotlight!

Today I am going to share with you how to make a quick ocean view card.  You need just a few supplies, colored cardstock in blue tones, embossing files (I used Cuttlebug folders), a circle punch, and some Stickles (I used clear Stickles).

First you emboss your cardstock, I used different embossing folders but you could use the same one.  Then you punch out circles...I think the rest you can figure out by looking at my card, you just layer them. Once I had them placed with the image where I wanted it I got my sparkle on.

The image was colored with Copic Markers.  I decided to try something different with her hair and worked with 3 colors, after all we really don't know what a mermaid's hair looks like, do we?

End result - Easy Peasy!

Join us next Thursday for another Design Team Spotlight!  In the mean time be sure to visit A Random Fan Etsy store!

Happy Crafting,

WOWEE Wednesday Guest Designer!

Our first guest designer is

Lynda says, "I printed Gemma's secret crush onto white cardstock and fussy cut her out.  I colored her with my Copic markers.  I then used foam tape to mount the image onto the card base that was covered with pattern paper from the Dear Lizzy Lucky Charm line.  I then added some trim from Michael's.  The hello was cut from Die Cut With a View pink cardstock using the Savvy dies "hello" die.  I think she'll make the perfect Valentine greeting"!

A Random Fan's
Design Team!

My name is Jenn Zeeb, and yes I'm a paper crafts addict. I spend most of my free time creating wonderfully unique, handmade cards from my home office in Western Washington.

I have always played with paper. I started my professional journey by selling for Stampin' Up, but quickly became more enamored with buying supplies then selling them. I transitioned into scrapbooking where my paper hoarding truly began. It was a natural transition for me to move from scrapbooking to creating cards. I've created hundreds of cards and I love entering them into digital stamp competitions.
